Beastie Boys Message Board - The Family Album

long story short (or not so short :)) -- i liked him and he liked me, but neither of us told the other. we PM'd each other here and there, and there was something about the way he said things and the things he told me that i just knew he could love me the way i'd always wanted to be loved, but never thought was possible (i thought guys like him didn't exist in the real world). anyway, one night we started PMing each other and i felt like if i didn't tell him that night how i felt, i might miss the only chance i had, if i really had a chance at all. to my surprise, he was as smitten with me as i was with him. then we started planning our first meet, and the rest is history, much to the dismay of many who get sick of reading about us. :)

there was a period of time where we were a couple but we weren't "out" as a couple on the board yet. he started a thread about me without naming me, and later on when we were ready i dug the thread up and posted a response that outed us as a couple. it's a beautiful thread (to me anyway), and i likely shouldn't dig it up to link you to it because i run the risk of reviving it, but here it is anyway.

aww. someday matt and i are going to visit beth and bobby and party as hard as is humanly possible. seriously, i love these two.

oh, and i fell in love with steger the first time i talked to him.

i read through it again today too; with all the recent deletions, i wondered how many posts might be missing from it (just one -- HOTWIFE's).

i read through it at least twice a week. i copied and pasted the entire thread into a word document. everyone's avatars and sigs are frozen in that time in the word doc. yours was the A scrabble tile, and your title was "I scrabble all night" and your sig was "i tend to dream you when i'm not sleeping."

nope, he lives in georgia, and i live in california. something like almost 3,000 miles apart. ah well. makes us appreciate the time we do have together that much more. hopefully it won't be that far for too much longer though :)

trust me, i've got tons of blemishes. i have good concealer though. buuuut i do have a pretty good complexion...i use really good products. i just broke out pretty bad so i switched to a new line...the Clear Skin line from Derma-E (cleanser, spot treatment, and moisturizer). and in just three days of using it, i'm amazed at how much it's done for me. i also get facials at the spa next door to my work. shut up, boomin'.

California never knew what hit 'em...

Sorry I'm not looking at the camera. Some dude yelled right when my friend went to snap the picture. People in California are crazy. I fit in pretty well.

Yeah, that's right. I own this place, suckers.

On the lookout for pirates here. Bustin' some skulls and turnin' homeless people down when they ask for change.

My personal favorite shot of the trip. You can't outstun Fatburger, so don't even try. I will say though... Jack in the Box tacos are pretty awesome when you're drunk off your ass.
