i've just come back from one of his gigs*, tonight, as we speak, actually, ACTUALLY, and i'm sort of drunk and heeeeey! this is pretty cool.

yes, they did something for spin magazine! i'm totally surprised anyone ever remembers what he looks like/his band name. wow, seriously impressed! :eek: :cool:

he has a bit on the spin magazine website. the video is so cute. he sounds so dingwall. however, that last video in the clip was done for like 50pence 2 years ago and is super shit, so ignore it. this is their full best video with the weird guy from we are scientists and various odd puppets. they were interviewed in new york for that spin video, there, and i love the way he goes "for american people.. very near loch ness, that sorta area" ha! how patronising! :rolleyes: i love the way the american voiceover says "scott rinning" and "glasgow". ha. hey girls, if you want to have sex with ramsay, i can organise it, but you probably won't want to. he maybe has many STDs.

god, he'd be totally embarassed if he knew those lil jon pictures got into the music press/they all knew he was gay. ssshhh! actually, if he was asked he said he wouldn't deny it. it just hasn't got to that point yet.

he's going on tour for 2 and a half months to the states/canada next week and i will miss him very much. i was going to post a thread called "see my friend live.. touch lil jon.....'s VAN" but i was scared people would diss him, which i seriously do not want. they are seriously 100% better live. if any of us were able to get a $3m contract (which actually isn't that much money, ssshh!) at 21, then i'd accept bad words, but i'm sort of protective of him atm :o even if it's not your type of music, i don't really want to hear it. eh.

i would give presents to the people who would come along to see him and stuff, though! seriously. i'd be stoked. hmm. perhaps i will create that thread.

anyway, i'm really impressed you noticed that. wow! ha! small world, eh? :)

hey, this is my town and a very cool little venue. I've seen Incubus and The Streets there and seeing TV on the Radio there in April.

I just might go see them and make a shirt with your face on it and stand right in front and stare at the lead singer the whole time like I'm insane.

They're playing a good club in Minneapolis. From the club's website:

"Following the success of several gloomy, post-punk revival bands, the Cinematics formed in 2003 and hail from Glasgow, Scotland, after originally meeting in Dingwall. Inspired by the likes of the Cure and Echo & the Bunnymen, the band includes guitarist Ramsay Miller, bassist Adam Goemans, drummer Ross Bonney, and vocalist/guitarist Scott Rinning. By 2005, the Cinematics were on tours of the U.K. with Ambulance LTD, the Editors, and Brendan Benson, while signing with TVT Records. Their first single, "Chase," was released in September 2006 and produced by Stephen Hague (Blur, New Order). A full-length followed."
