Yauch moments

I know a lot of people are sharing stories of when they got to meet him. I did not have the opportunity to meet Yauch but he just seemed so cool. I wanted to remember a moment of his that still cracks me up whenever I think about it. Back when he was promoting AIFST he was on Carson Dalys late show (whatever it's called). He played the clip where the guy says the "Awesome I fuckin' shot that" and then it cuts back to Carson Daly who, completely serious says "So how did you come up with the title?" Yauch just came back with "Are you serious?!" His delivery and timing were perfect. Cracked me up. I also like his quote in the Zane Lowe interview "recently is a relative term when you're building a time machine."

I miss that dude.

definitely one of my favorites was when they hosted MTV 120 minutes in 94
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Upo_q6sqfVQ

yauch as stewart wallace.

another great yauch moment imo was when they were on radio 1 in 97 (The breezeblock, DJ Set) just messin around doing freestyles and classic rap verses. only have that as an mp3 somewhere but if you haven't heard it i strongly advice you to check it out.

Lovely one from the NME here in UK in '09. They were just about to save the music biz.

Re: Yauch moments

Every beasties interview was a classic Yauch moment!!

One that sticks in my mind was the Yo MTV Raps Paul's Boutique world tour in the restaurant where Yauch posed the famous question, "Which MC can eat the most eggs???"

It's really weird now to look back and think of the changes he made to his first verse in "Too Many Rappers" after he was diagnosed.
