so like, what if you're just starting out, and your first show is one of those? a different audience, a different time, a different place and you'd be killing, but you wouldn't know that because you've never done a show before, you can only assume that you aren't funny and nobody will ever laugh at your act

i heard louis ck say that the first show he did he totally bombed. like, he actually stated he just sucked, but look at him now. it takes perseverance.
