i think bale is more of a traditional winger than either of those two. Sure ronaldo started as a winger but it became obvious he could do the strikers job. Not sure bale will make that step, dont think he needs to, he's the most effective british player at crosses i have seen since beckham.

seconded, if he's going to go for money and prestige then i'm afraid italy isnt necessarily the best place to go. Its spain or a bigger EPL club (eurrgh, i just said EPL). Plus, i really dont think he's going to go anywhere as long as harry redknapp is still spurs manager.
