Ban Escalators!!

Seriously. You'd help solve two problems:
1. The constant running of them uses electricity which generally burns fossil fuels which puts carbon in the air which we breath.
2. People wouldn't be such fat lazy fudgers saving the NHS from so many obesity induced illnesses. Sure they'd moan at first and maybe use the lift/elevator more but when they realise there is a queue they'd soon learn how to put one leg in front of the other.

Same with automatic doors - they waste resources always opening and closing for people who aren't going through but walking past letting cold/warm air in/out making your heating/air con work harder. Use your arms to push or pull!
