Bid farewell to a Buddhist Beastie Boy
The Blue Mountain Lotus Society will host a ceremony titled Sure Shot: A Celebration of the Life of Adam Yauch, in honor of the practicing Buddhist and rapper also known as MCA of the Beastie Boys, who died on May 4 after a three-year struggle with cancer. The service will include the Buddhist ceremony of rebirth and musical meditations.
