The strategy that seems to work for me best is by the end of turn one owning South America then making a push to North America. By turn 5 or 6 having North America, then just poke into other countires to gain risk card and keep cashing in and fortifying until you are ready to sweep through asia like a motherfucker. I remember after like turn 13 I had an army of 64 in Alaska, and I barreled through Asia and took it, and the next turn took Australia and then won the game some time afterward.
Yeah, I love Risk.
