I was trying to get my head around a situation which I could not fathom how it happened. Now more details are coming out, the picture is becoming clearer. I like to hear all sides of the story and make my assessment based on that, rather than jumping the gun. Turns out your initial judgement seems like it was right, but it
might not have been.
In my job, if I just took things at face value and from one source, I'd be really shitty at it!
