Not sure how the money got divided, but he has very prominent writing credits on the back cover of CYH. He's even the sole writer listed for Mark On the Bus.
Although I just took a look and he isn't credited for So What'cha Want... the biggest hit on the album, which I'm 90% sure he played the organ part on (pretty sure he appears briefly in the video when it comes in, even).
