Less awful as in "wow that is so powerful and ugly to look at" more awful as in "more of Norcen's shit *scrolls down*"
Something that is painful and ugly an still be considered good. A blank MS paint page with a red line down the side is not 'ugly or painful in a good way'.
It's just rubbish. (And not in a good way!)
