hi im the same way. i dont know if this IS a lip stain, but sometimes i use Maxfactor "Lipfinity" that comes in a tube and you apply it with a spongy brush type of thing, and then you put sheer stuff that comes with it over it. pick a medium pinkish color, but only dab a teeny tiny amount and then rub it in so its not like an intense amount of color at all. it looks natural, and the sheer gloss that goes over it isnt the gross gooey stuff, its just vaugely shiney. and you can barely feel its there.
