Of COURSE you can help! It doesn't have to be with a credit card. Those were only my suggestions. If you would prefer to just drop some money in charity box somewhere, do THAT!
The whole idea is to get up and take action on his behalf. He's too sick to do it himself right now. He taught us to be the voice of the voiceless.
