Does anyone have any contingency plans? Not really a big fan of the facebook pages as information seems to get lost in the shuffle. The Reddit group maybe.

That was so much fun to watch. I felt a little bad for Mike D. Conan was feeding off fo AdRock's comedy persona and picking on Mike - but Mike takes it so well and has always been a great comedy foil. It was fun to see Conan listen to conan connect to them. I listened to it weeks ago. I had no idea you could "watch" conan's podcast. So now I get to watch it for the first time!

Yeah, i couldnt access for quite some time, i did message @beastieboys on "X" time and time again asking what is going on with the boards, as i never got any response, I thought it was just me BUt glad to be back again

Any internet geniuses here know what this message board costs to run? I know getting the rights to host it might be some work, but just thinking about a last ditch effort in case the admins decide they've had enough and the group doesn't feel like footing the bill for it.



Part of me wants this to live on because I love the Beastie Boys. An equally large part of me wants this to live on because I'm nostalgic for the early internet days when disjointed message boards were all over the place.

It certainly is nice to have our own little cell here, sequestered, if only slightly from the vacuumous jungle of the open forum social media wasteland. It indeed remains a community here.
