I did this re-make of the Atmosphere song "Lovelife" as a dedication to my good friend Josh Coppie, who passed away earlier this month. Josh previously dedicated this song in 2008 to another friend who left us way too soon, Cammie Krusoe (so this is also dedication to her). The Beastie Boys tie-in here is that the background music is "Sneaking Out the Hospital" from Hello Nasty.
Another tie-in is just that I couldn't help but think of MCA as I was making this. My thoughts were also with Adam and Mike and wondering how they are dealing with the loss of a good friend. For me, it was helpful to cope with my grief by working on a project like this.
