Gang Starr
Someone had sent me a Gang Starr song called "Tonz O Gunz", and it impressed me very much. It's an insightful, thought-provoking song about violence in the ghetto, and kids being armed at a young age; people dying in the ghetto every day. The guy who raps on it, Guru, (I believe) has a mellow and calm voice when rapping, that it sounds a bit depressing when he raps about all the violence occuring in the ghetto.
Anyway, I wasn't a fan of them before hearing this song, but my opinion of them has changed quite a bit. Do they have more songs like Tonz O Gunz? |
