![]() Tossed Vespertine on my headphones late the other night (my first complete and honest listen to her music) and it turned my face inside out. Shit's bananas. I'm excited to discover the rest of her catalogue, what do you guys suggest along the lines of a good follow up to Vespertine? Any album's I should avoid until I've peeped the rest?

![]() I haven't listened to Bjork for years now, but Post was always a solid listen.
Bjork is a bit bonkers really. she can't seem to handle the long haul flights.

![]() Medulla is not too good to listen too cause it's completely acapella (al the instruments and rhythms are ne with voices). So it's an interesting album, but also very "exertive".
I'd suggest homogenic and post as well. I don't know volta yet ( ![]() |

I actually picked up Volta today; gave it a hard listen. Interesting. Respectable. Not quite up to par for me, though. Shit's not quite bananas. Surprisingly the Timbaland produced tracks were notably weak as well. A very dry-sounding chaos, this record. Worth another listen, though. I think I'm gonna try Homogenic next. I have Debut, but havent listened yet. I'm just afraid the production won't be as adventurous as what I've already heard and I don't want to lose my enthusiasm for her work before I give the other stuff a chance. I will get to it, though, no doubt.

![]() what? Bjork!
one & only Debut was a real revelation for that time, boom in '93 i think ... but it's never too late to answer your question: everything. you can't miss with her

![]() Homogenic is probably the best solid, good all around album she's ever put out. I don't think I've ever not gotten goosebumps while listening to "Joga". Dancer in the Dark is a great soundtrack but it's best to enjoy it while watching the movie. Feces' Pineapples, son.

![]() Homogenic is pretty terrific.
It's one of those albums that I know is great and I really appreciate it but I don't listen to it much. She's kind of like the Ozu of music, to me.
