...at the movies today. She kept texting paging someone and the lumination of her phone was distracting.

So I threw one ... No response.

Then two ... No response.

She kept texting ...

I then threw a handful ... My friends laughed as they hit her head, back of her chair, her grandma ...

She stopped, and I only had four M&M's left for the movie.

during superbad half our school went to see it (not meaning to all go to the same theater and time) and a few wouldnt shut up so i threw some milk duds at them as hard as i could. they just stood up and yelled "WHO THE FUCK THREW THAT SHIT AT ME?" and we all laughed and then some more people threw shit at them.

Long ago I went to watch Willy Wonka (depp movie) at the theater, this mom brought a baby along and the kid was crying and crying and crying. We all must have thought this lady should go out and calm the kid down. Stupid. So, across the room a guy shouted "Shut that baby up!" and a couple people applaud. All the way across the room. Here is fucking me thinking: one, the mom should have had the common mother fucking sense to not bring a baby in the theater and get a babysitter (it should be a policy now); two, that son of bitch douche bag should have had the decency to get his fucking ass up walk towards the mother and quietly tell her to shush her baby WITHOUT THE FUCKING PUBLIC INSULT.


anyways, my point is anyone who goes to the theaters sucks. The last movie I went to theater was with a Jet Li flick and the most recent was the Dark Knight. and final. hopefully.

I don't see what the big deal is with people texting during a movie if it doesn't make sound (I turn my phone off). If a friend or family member was texting someone while you were watching a movie at home, would you be pissed off?

If the movie is any good, a slight distraction like that shouldn't sway your attention from the movie for more than a couple of seconds....if it does, then the movie probably isn't worth paying attention to in the first place. Or you should be on ritalin.

Last year i took my kids to see Transformers-i had taken my youngest son with us a coupla weeks before (he was two then) to see Shrek 3 and he sat really quiet and wasn't a pain so figured it would be ok to take him too. Trouble was, transformers was reeeaaalllyyy looooooooooooooooooooooooooong and boring for a two-year old(in fact Zeb who was 6 got pretty bored too)so he starts to wander around-totally quietly-and seeing as it would have caused loads more noise and distraction to go chasing him around,i just kept my eye on him while he walked around a bit. He wasn't going near the other people but right at the end of the film, one of the kids who works there comes over and and tells me they've had some complaints and if my son doesn't sit down we'll have to leave. so seeing as the film was finished anyway we left.
But i was pretty pissed off-if someone had just come to me and told me it was pissing them off, i would have left-i totally didn't want to piss anyone off and completely would have understood. why the fuck people can't just talk to each other to sort shit out i don't know but seems they'd rather go bitch to someone else.

I have never and will never buy snacks from the theater. Way too expensive. There is a dollar store 50 feet away from it, too. Stop by there 15 minutes before showtime
