Default Mike D, wine and a recipe from Interpol's drummer

What's The Secret Peter?
Naturally I'll Say Its The Wine/
Mmm It Does Go Well With The Chicken.
Delicious again Peter

I did not know the following: (a) Mike D has a 'wine cellar' in Chelsea; (b)
Tamra and Mike D are friends with Interpol drummer Sam Fogarino; and
finally and perhaps most importantly (c) Fogarino makes a delicious
Pasta Pomodoro

Tamra Davis Cooking Show – Sam’s Spaghetti Background

"On a summer night in New York, Mike and I hosted a small dinner party
with friends. Our friend Sam Fogarino (Interpol Drummer) said he was a big fan
of my cooking show and had a recipe for his mothers delicious Pasta Pomodoro
that he wanted share. He and his wife Christy Bush (fantastic
photographer) came over early to show me this amazingly delicious and
simple recipe. I made one of my favorite seasonal salads, Shaved
Fennel, Blood Orange, Bucheron Goat Cheese and Candied Walnut Salad.

My husband has become best friends with his wine dealer, Dave Sokolin.
The benefits are we have amazing wine and a great friend. Although I
was a little wary when I would see large deliveries of wine to our
home and found out that my husband even has a wine storage room in
Chelsea. I felt much better after reading Dave’s book “Investing In
Liquid Assets” and saw my husbands wine obsession as a passionate
collection that could also have invest possibilities. In this show
Dave reveals to us how to taste wine and his friend Mike Densen shares
some Burgandy knowledge. Our good friends Rene Lopez and Susie joined
us as well as Megan and Mary from TMI."

"A lot of record companies look at the numbers and they'll be like, 'Your first record sold 5 million and your second record sold only 800,000. What happened? You guys fell off, I think the band all feels that the record did really well. Most musicians I grew up playing music with would probably shoot me if I ever complained about selling 800,000 records."

Comparing Mike and Tamra's digs with Mike's old pad in this video ...

... shows quite a difference. Good on ya, Mike!

Cool as a cucumber in a bowl of hot sauce.

Tamra seems like such a cool chick, and I enjoy watching her cooking shows just because its cool to catch a glimpse of life in the Diamond house. But man, those wacky vegan recipes that she does really gross me out. Whatever blows your hair back, I guess.

Thats insane, you're stupid...you should sleep late man, it's just much easier on your constitution.

mike and adam h were referring to Mike as a newcomer in the "wine game" on one of the recent album commentaries.

this was followed by horovitz claiming he was an affineur-cheese expert.

Long Burn The Fire. Rest In Peace Adam.

I agree the mistakes the author makes are annoying. Heart in the right place I guess.
