Gang Starr's Guru - Rest In Peace
One of the best of emcees lost his battle with cancer. He left behind some of the greatest hiphop.
I wish Adam Yauch the best with his fight. |

Re: Gang Starr's Guru - Rest In Peace
i urge anyone that does not own a ganstarr record to go out and buy one....i suggest you start with "step in the arena" and "daily operation"...their 2nd (1991) and 3rd releases (1992) are classic...guru's style was/is his own and the beats/scratches have never been topped by any group from this time period. one of the greatest TRUE hip-hop groups of all time.

Re: Gang Starr's Guru - Rest In Peace
This is a big personal loss to me. I got my start as an audio engineer working for Gang Starr. RIP GURU. Ill try and remember the good times we had (as well as the bad). You helped me in so many ways, i wish i could thank you one more time in person. Anyway, everyone should go out and get some Gang Starr and enjoy it for the good beats and lyrics.
