Beastie Boys vs. Mr. Oizo
First post, first remix:
Beastie Boys vs. Mr. Oizo (DxSx Remix) It's wasn't that much of a job, just pasting it on top of eachother and doing little time and build-up corrections. cheerz -Joshi |

Re: Beastie Boys vs. Mr. Oizo
your mix starts off really cool but then the acapella of "3 The Hard Way" eventually gets out of sync with your other track. (Mr. Oizo?) u might want to put the headphones on while you're mixing so you can make sure the two tracks are in sync with each other. otherwise, good effort!

Re: Beastie Boys vs. Mr. Oizo
thnx! well that's what i get for putting a 93bpm acapella on top of a 92bpm song xD
I've recorded a bunch of songs for some local bands, but this was my first try at this remixing hiphop stuff (if it is even worth to be called remixing, it was more of a copy and paste job). Maybe next I'll try to make some beats myself. |

Re: Beastie Boys vs. Mr. Oizo
If you're making a mashup, you HAVE TO sync the acapella with the beat or it's a complete failure. Since it doesn't sync, there's absolutely nothing to show for that song, considering you didn't make the beat. Just being real...

I´m not bragging about the cool beat i made, just thought it was nice to drop the mix here and get some feedback

Re: Beastie Boys vs. Mr. Oizo
Nice Mr Oizo track - whats it called. As already mentioned its well out. Have you tried mixing live with acapellas. I do all my mashups live on cd decks, have tried using software and still found it easier to manually tweak tempos as i'm going along. Couple of examples on an old thread below. Anyway nice idea.
