^hehe, you super hero have a big package!! Very cool.
Randetica, this piece is a panel and it worth around 250$, the surface is a plywood that i cut, i stoled the plywood on a construction site, they have tone of little piece useless to them. The tables i make are recycle stuff too ; i find in thrift stores or in the garbage ; But no money , no candy!!

lol I wasnt sure if I put to much emphasis on his groin area haha but yeah, I guess now I'm sure that I did give him a big sack.
btw, its Henchman 24 from the Venture Bros. show who recently died within the story arc. I saw a Megalodon documentary and was urged to start a sketch. Damn, Megalodon got owned by whales. haha.

Re: ARTS THREAD
I did not know it was from the Venture Bros creation, i though it was yours, still pretty neat.
Your Megalodon is well done too. Good thing that those monsters are extinct !! White shark look like nothing compare to it, he is approx 6 feet,i check wiki, Megalodon was between 12 and 18 metres. Insane.

Re: ARTS THREAD
yeah, those characters are very unique but... umm maybe as not as unique I thought they were, unless the ones I seen where originally made by Brian Froud then yes I would say his creatures are very distinctive.
Though, I feel like I've seen other work where other artists try to reproduce the same characters... I dunno. I love those creature designs.

Re: ARTS THREAD
yeah, you are right
lmao they are sooo different from Frazzeta's style and like they are very fucking contrast at one another. Oh, man. Imagine having both style together in one composition that would be like having Harmony and Chaos sharing a space. Frazzetta's Death Dealer series

Re: ARTS THREAD
I had this LCD for a while when I started doing digital illustrations and never notice how fucking stupid they are. LCD sucks ass-brownies. I want my CRT monitor back. When I looked at my new work on the CRT monitor I could totally see the spots I didnt color due to the contrast the LCD monitors make when I draw. what a jib.
Now all my works look half-ass in CRT screen.

Re: ARTS THREAD
thanks. Me too, just recently I figured the problem was that my structure was too confined so I had to do some over the top forms in order to get the bodies looking lively than puppets.
Myspace deleted 2 of my sketches. Lame. I didnt do anything that violates the rules....? wtf.

Re: ARTS THREAD
Nice figures, just a couple suggestions
In your running figure your foreshortening of the legs is wrong. The size of your thighs suggest visually that the extending leg is behind the bent leg and no need to show the foot in the back (it looks flat). It looks like your foreshortening is the biggest problem (which it is...I have troubles too!) other than that, nice studies ..my favorite is the bottom right sitting woman I miss my drawing classes |

Re: ARTS THREAD
I had the same feeling. I was put into two idea of either adding muscle to the thigh to show some flexing but I wasnt sure if it was necessary, since it will make the leg to appear more in front. Nice catch.
