I didn't quite understand how this track took off. it's pretty much exactly what Armand Van Helden has been doing his entire career. find a great disco track, house it up slightly.

i dont like everything AVH has done but he is a pop genius, the man has an ear for a funky beat and a catchy hook. He even managed to make Dizzee Rascal sound brilliant.

At the end of the day Barbara Streisand is a tune that goes "do do do doo do do doo do do doo-oo BArbara Streisand". Always going to be a pop hit. It flew round work if one person started whistling it. Catchy. Annoying but catchy.
