I like whats happening on this message board right now. Lots of great stories, people coming back who were gone for a while, people supporting other people during this tough time. It's nice.

yeah i think it's amazing. really goes to show the family type vibe this place has had in the past and still has. i know for sure spending time on here recently just reading and catching up on people has helped me through this difficult time.

It's what's been keepin me together. I check the board constantly on my iPod everyday, idk how I'd feel if it wasn't for this.

I read a comment somewhere that said "MCA isn't really dead. Just press play."

I get what you mean.

I've had Beastie Boys dreams two nights in a row. a grieving AdRock was in both of them.

in my dream, I also realized a lyric from Sounds of Science where MCA calls his shot. reevaluating his lyrics now has so much more depth. quoting it is a bit morbid, but I'm sure you guys know which one I'm talking about.

Adam Yauch went out First Class, he didn't go out Coach

It's just comforting to know that there are a lot of people who are feeling the same thing I am. I mean that's kind of contradictory, because we all feel devastated, but feeling devastated alone would be even worse. This might be the first time I've ever gone through and read every single post in a thread.
