Adam was incredibly sweet and the most sensitive artist, who I loved dearly. I was always inspired by his work. He will be missed by all of us. In his passing, I want to share a yogic prayer. This experience is tough for all of us to accept, but we know that we have only lost Adam in the physical world. His gifts will live forever. Adam is not dead because we're not. The eyes behind the eyes will always exist...your soul will always live. Even though our bodies rejuvenate every single cell every seven years, our consciousness will exist for eternity. There is one living, breathing journey of consciousness and we are all connected. God is the everlasting ocean of consciousness and we are just cups of this ocean. I really hope someone gets all these stories together in one place.
It would be great to reach a Yauch biography. |

Re: MCA Tributes
DJ Hurricane's statement about Yauch's passing:
http://allhiphop.com/2012/05/09/beas...remembers-mca/ "As I mourn my friend, Adam Yauch, aka MCA, I send my heartfelt condolences to his wife, daughter and loving parents. I think of all of the good times we shared that I will cherish forever. We rocked so many stages together: from Jerusalem to Italy to North America to South America to Japan to Australia and New Zealand; we toured the world several times over and I thank you for taking me on that journey. I am heartbroken, but will never forget the times we shared, as we grew from being kids to responsible adults. R.I.P. MCA I LOVE YOU...You will be missed dearly."

Re: MCA Tributes
I've been adding all of those around that I find including portraits of MCA.
http://beastieboysgallery.com/thumbn...m=lastup&cat=0 If you see something that is yours and want me to add a message to the photo or credit don't hesitate to ask! Finally HURRICANE says something. I feel better about that now.

Re: MCA Tributes
the zane lowe thing was good. you could tell he loved them bigtime. he came out with some really nice sentiments and you could tell he'd poured his heart into the tribute. nice bit about the band informing most of his decisions on muisc/attitude/politics/fashion etc.
he did 15 minute mix of great bits including looping "my man mca's got a beard like a billy goat". anyway its good and the half hour live perfomance and the interview were good.
