I know when I read that he didn't like when she wore makeup, it made me realize even more how special he is. He's not like other rock stars, obviously but it proves how down to earth he is. I really hope I find someone like him, his wife is a lucky women. (and my heart still and always will go out for dechen and losey)

I feel bad knowing all of this. It's kinda personal, but it really gives us another perspective of him as a person. Aura made it happen so that he'd meet Dechen though.. I find that cool that she got him on that path and he found somebody else that he was just as passionate about. He really loved Aura. Damn!

And knowing now those old jackets he wore were Aura's. So cute. It's like some Yauch trivia we are getting from her!

this shit sucks. I'm 15 so I never actually grew up with them. I was, introduced to my boys in April ladt year by my favorite teacher. I never actually considered losing Adan to cancer and now it kills me. I wish I was born in the 80's because now I'll never see them live...

I think I'm still in denial as I just can't believe the heading of this thread.

I also can't think of anything to say as anything I put into words can't express how much Adam Yauch means to me.

My heart hurts.

Big Love to Adam H, Mike D and all their family and friends.

Peace.

Even with all of the billboards, articles, and magazine covers, I still can not believe it. I'll watch a few interviews and I just can not believe he's not here anymore. i think about how hard it is for the fans and can't imagine what his family is dealing with. This just sucks all around.

Yauch's verses in "Do It" are outstanding, and underrated. Like:

Quote:
Well, when I get it into the zone
I'm gonna take it to a place where I'm all alone
Where I got my shit and with my rhyme styles kickin'
My brain is flowing honest like Abe Lincoln
and
Quote:
I step from minute to minute, lifetime to lifetime
Step from stage to stage to see it all unwind
Slowly but surely I seek to find my mind
And every wall that I face is of my own design

I agree!!

Btw, regarding the article:
“Nobody even knows DJ Lethal or Danny Boy from House of Pain and I think you’d say Ad-Rock was the lead in the Beasties. So conceivably it could even be bigger than this MCA deal when I go. Man.”
I always thought Yauch was the lead and stuffs. Thats what Mike D said in his rolling stone interview recently.

What old jackets? Where does she mention that? I only read the comments under her photograph of him and her on her wall. I see someone has had a go at her for presuming she was the catalyst in turning his life path onto buddhism.

She was commenting on our timeline in response to photos that fans were posting of Adam. On the Yauch fb timeline. It's all still there, you just have to scroll down.

She also left a message about this photo. The ring on his finger is hers.

Aura Walker Hypnotherapy on facebook. All of her posts are public.

I can't remember how she said they met. I know it was early 80's. I'd have to go back and look myself. If I see it I'll let you know.

I will take another look, ta. BTW, I was looking at the 'Fight for your right to party' video on youtube last week and noticed a beautiful asian girl in the video. She is standing at a table with another girl and Mike D at one point. I wonder was that Aura?

Really? It's on the timeline, not where we post the main news but where fans leave messages and photos. Hmmm.... It's this jacket.

saw this thread about aura walker, checked it out, and found her post interrible taste. here's a quote from her... '"this has definitely been areoccurring role for me to take men to their next level of empowerment. Thosewho pay attention go very far." arrogant thing to believe, much less topublicly announce. for someone who studied at a 'Jedi' school I’m surprised atthe unenlightened nature of that particular pronouncement.

that aside, the 25 year old reminiscing about her turning down his many marriageproposals and basically taking credit for yauchs life. it was self aggrandizing.perhaps appropriate in her circle of peeps if that's how she really feels but to broadcast it on a publicforum is distasteful to say the least. she thinks very highly of herself, whichis fine i suppose. i find it tacky that it was put on a public forum.

we all have our flaws. one of mine is feeling the need to throw in my two cents regarding other behavoir I find crappy, as though i am better than anyone else. I'm working on it.

Yeah, she should probably make her facebook page private if she is gonna talk about all that very personal stuff. Then again, he was a big part of her life back then and she is entitled to talk about him. But yeah......

Tend to agree with Gordon there, it is a little off-putting how she portrays herself. And while that makes me uneasy because her image of herself seems to take away from Yauch, I think at the same time, what do we know, really?

Please send that one more goat to me now!

Beastie are way ahead in term of creation and sounds that have never been even thought up by others. They were always trying to take a step further in their beats. They were not hiphop, they were the Beastie boys, their own style, geniuses for me, most definitely.

Ahhh, shoot , this is not why I'm here, I just think Everlast is SO full of himself. Far away from Adams Yauch mindset. This is why he's so missed, this is why people cry for him. He was just a great man in every way.

Anyway, Today I had a race and dedicated it to MCA. 10 Km with the beasties music on replay!

I can see how some people might think she’s arrogant, but if she was important to Adam then I am sure she had to be a pretty good person. I don’t know her either. To me she’s just somebody nice from his past sharing some of her memories with/about him. I guess not everybody is going to be interested in what she has to say and that’s cool.

Oh and about that photo. I am sure one day I’ll get it. I’m the PHOTO QUEEN!!!!!!!

Check these new photos of Adam that I just added to the gallery. Aren’t they lovely?
