Just found this on Al Jazeera, not sure if it's been posted. Actually, I wasn't sure whether I should post it, either, since the comments are fairly horrible (not about Yauch so much, more general internet comments horribleness). But I thought the text was interesting, coming from an unexpected source:

Please send that one more goat to me now!

How do you make a link for a special view on Google Maps?
If you go down to Shoreditch in London, up to Curtain Road towards Christina Street you'll see an awesome mural! It goes around the corner on three streets, with Jimi Hendrix signing a contract with devil and other awesome stuff!

You've done it! That mural is fucking amazing, I was in Shoreditch earlier today, I can't believe I missed it...

Great night out too, I'll have to raise a glass to that mural next time I'm out. Top work on the link / find. I can't believe I haven't seen it yet...

I keep finding various tributes around the place, not sure if they're getting posted on here somewhere or not, but here's a couple of recent Tumblr posts from the JukeBox CowBoys Graff crew from Germany:-

No links guys, I just wanted to mention that I wore an MCA tribute shirt that I have all day, went on a long walk (3 miles, not too shabby if I say so myself) and looked at a wedding venue with my fiancé. Though we're not full-on Buddhists, we've decided to send out swatches of fabric with our invites and have our friends and families write blessings for our marriage on them, so we can assemble all of them into our own prayer flag of sorts. Also, we've decided to incorporate lotus flowers into our decor. Adam is the one that drove me to investigate Buddhism to begin with, one of many things he brought to my attention that would eventually elevate my mental plain.

After i post this, I'm going to meditate for 20 minutes like I pledged on Facebook, and then pack it in. What did you all do to remember Adam, however big or small that it was?

A couple more low-key graffiti tributes to Yauch that I've found in the last week or so in London....

I threw together a little something from Cymple Man's - RIP MCA mixed up with only MCA's verses from Lee Majors come again, basically into one verse. It's short, but just loved CM's whole tribute chorus and words. Enjoy

MCA FOREVER.

A 'little' something I made courtesy of AndreaMosaic software

"Adam Yauch Mosaic" (2013)

"A lot of record companies look at the numbers and they'll be like, 'Your first record sold 5 million and your second record sold only 800,000. What happened? You guys fell off, I think the band all feels that the record did really well. Most musicians I grew up playing music with would probably shoot me if I ever complained about selling 800,000 records."

Nice!

I made something similar a little while ago. I used album covers to fill up the mosaic pattern: http://www.flickr.com/photos/6199680...n/photostream/

That is cool -- great idea with the album covers.

Thanks for posting. I think Sarah (pwr2mca) was at that show. She's from that part of the world and said PE put on a great tribute to him.

One of the local breweries here in SF brewed a session stout in honor of MCA called the MCA stout two years ago. They just won sliver at the Great American Beer Festival for that beer. Way to go 21st Amendment.

Yes Adam yauch was very spiritual yes he raised awareness about the situation in Tibet yea he was a great father , husband and friend but most of all he was a dope MC one of the greatest to ever pick up a mike his voice will be missed- Chris Rock
