I am really hoping the online orders get a surprise, like a special 7inch or something.

I also ordered the Anthology since the big version is $18. I already have the standard version and the create your own they did but I am going through B-Boys withdrawal so i figured why not.

got my HSCII today! So happy to finally own this, my favourite Beasties record, on wax. no bonuses or anything, but it sounds great! the label on Side D is messed up though, half of it didnt seem to stick down and it folded over itself a bit. Think they would send me another if I let them know?

Anyone get their Kings Road order yet? Mine still says shipping soon. Given my experience with them in the past I expected them to be slow, but damn...

My three copies from the US store came in. All three are very nice pressings and sound beautiful! There were no random bonuses or anything like that. Has anyone ordering from the UK store received their copy? I would like to know if it is any different than those ordered from the EU store.

The three copies from the EU store came in on Friday. They are also very nice and sound excellent! The labels are from "EU" and the sleeves are also EU but mention The Netherlands. Anyone from the UK have a copy to compare to the EU version?

So it looks like the North American store is still out of TT5B and TISFWO reissues. Anyone know if they're going to press any more of these for this run, or was that it?

I wrote to them because despite writing the initial post, I waited to pull the trigger on TT5B...fail.

Their response (for that particular album) is that they are expecting a re-stock but are unsure exactly when they'll be getting it.

Adam, you will be forever missed.

I really hope that's true, because a nice thing about this reissue was that is made these albums affordable for people who wanted them on vinyl. I'm already seeing people selling unsealed copies for above the original sale price on places like Discogs and Ebay, and I imagine if they didn't do another run (or more) of these, you'll see even more price increase.

I completely disagree with the price for TT5B though, at least here in the UK. £40 may be better than paying £60-£100 for an original copy, but not much better. I paid for it of course, so I guess I'm the sucker - but to me it defeats the whole purpose of reissues if they cost so much.

Wow! I had no idea it was that expensive in the UK. In the US it's £21.65 ($30) to buy it domestically, so I think it's actually cheaper to buy it here and ship it to the UK.

Yeah £36.99 was the best I’ve seen so far but that was without p and p. In store at HMV it’s £42.99 (where I got it).

I did notice that it was more realisticallly priced in the States. It’s strange because the HSC reissue - also a double - is around £22 most places here.

Disappointing but didn’t want to miss out. Just not sure why such an aggressive pricing policy has been adopted for that one item in one country / region.
