Re: DJ MIKE D FESTIVAL LINE UP
I hate festivals. I waist he would just DJ at a small venue or a club tour.

Just found out that a cat I work with regularly is touring with Mike D this summer as his sound engineer. He was recently out west for rehearsals. small world

Re: DJ MIKE D FESTIVAL LINE UP
Hey so I'd erroneously ran with the story that A-Trak was offsider on these gigs, however it's Jason Steingold, about whom I know nothing.
It must be nice for Mike to once again be blending his love of music with travel. I can't help but hope he is still making music, though.

Re: DJ MIKE D FESTIVAL LINE UP
His DJ set was the best selection of music I have ever heard at a club. I guess I should not be surprised Mike D has impeccable taste -- it was great to hear him rap again as well

Re: DJ MIKE D FESTIVAL LINE UP
I got to see him at Northside, and I must say that a festival like this is not super for a DJ set like his.
I enjoyed it, but it was a strange act for people who thought the saw an old star doing his own new thing, and not just him doing a DJ set where he did a few Beastie songs. I knew what I was going in to, but would have enjoyed a DJ set at a small club much more than at a festival, where the people in the pit just waited for Björk to show up. |
