i watch/listen to drink champs faithfully and other old head classic hip hop podcasts (rip combat jack) and there is quite a bit of revision of history that goes on. keep in mind they drink the entire show and they’re smoking gas. my boys have noticed it as well. the truth gets stretched quite a bit sometimes. but it’s all good for conversation.

Interesting to hear him talk about reluctance to work them at time and then think of the prominent bboys vocal samples in a lot his productions (long live the Kane album comes to mind along with some ll cool j tracks, I think others too)
