Default This is Beastie Boys

Looks like Beasties Boys have a cross promotion going on with spotify: https://open.spotify.com/user/spotif...1DX46YR1jKxz8o

Has a play list with about 33 Videos and Songs, the only rarity I see here is the Pass The Mic Prunes mix.

I don't remember that one, but it's nice

Was remixed for the Video Anthology. They also performed the remix live, by and large, at NYAV in 2001.

that dark and deep vibe of the Prunes is so unique. Best remixers ever imo.

Yes! remember on, maybe the Hello Nasty commentary Ad-Rock said "Remember when we were gonna do a whole album with them? They were gonna make all the beats and we would just rap..."

I really really wish that had happened. I love the Beastie Boys beats, so I'd rather they make beats w/ the Prunes, but I think it would have been a great sounding project either way.

A thread actually updated whilst I was online. In two mins no less. First time I've seen this is about 7 years.

It does. I just happen to love the original so much that I don't seek out the remixes that much. Especially all the weird sounds like the chains and kids? in the background.

YES! It's head and shoulders above the first version.

I also really love the Def Squad remix of Body Movin' w/ Redman, Keith Murray and Biz.
