This comes off as the opposite to me. Dude was definitely trying to recreate classic moments, use b-boy samples, give credit due. As far as I'm concerned, he doesn't have anything to sell or gain. It's a tribute, and I liked it.

Atrocious.
It’s also really (ironically) the anthiesis of what the Beastie Boys are about. Should be doing their own thing, with their own style, freedom etc. Take influence by all means, certainly pay homage - but the post above is apt... There really is a fine line between homage and embarrassing.
