I find it really odd that MMM is the one releasing something from the ‘vault’ of posthumous stuff first. When it does eventually get released, I mean.

The song will contain a verse from MCA, still wondering when it will be released.

I keep checking for an update and the only thing I've found is that it will be released on 12/6/19 and you can preorder it in CD form (2xcd that is) at roughtrade.com. I ordered it mostly out of curiosity/possibly limited edition(?), but hope to be able to download it for free besides earlier, but who knows?

This does not look good for Homestar Runner.

I saw Mix Master Mike live in Dublin two weeks ago and right at the top of the show he mentioned having MCA on his new record. He said that the vocals were recorded back in the Hello Nasty era and that he went above management and sought Dechen Yauch’s blessing to use it. Legend.

For anyone who wants to hear a snippet, he previewed a little bit on Instagram a few months ago. https://youtu.be/lhxmSh-X_8Y

The link to the album on Rough Trade’s UK site seems to have been cleared, but you can still see it on the US store.

Interesting, because by MMM labelling it ‘Yauch’s last song’ it sort of implied that it was at least one of the final things he recorded.

The IG preview sounds totally different to what was released. Pure speculation, but I wonder if he gone some kick back from the band/family about using MCA vox and that resulted in it being taken off the album and replaced with a track with only 2 lines in?!
