Bonnaroo YouTube
As many other festivals that can’t happen this year Boonnaroo is streaming old shows from the 24-26th of this month. They list the Beastie Boys in the from the archives so I’m assuming that’s a whole set, it’s also their last ever performance.
They said they’ll be dropping the schedule soon. I hope it’s easier to watch then the Fuji Rock Festival. Never found that one. Speaking of them live. I wish they would put out a live album, like a proper live album. I’d take that over another hits record.

Re: Bonnaroo YouTube
they should drop a big box set that has live shows from every album/tours. go big.

Re: Bonnaroo YouTube
And they said Mario C mixed this set, does that mean specifically for the streaming event?
Knowing that and seeing the magic they used in order to edit previous live performances, Tv performances, AIFST, etc, I couldn’t agree with Micodin more right about now. At least give us a Gala Event Tour snippet

it really is and even from my computer, with my headphones on I think it sounds pretty good. It's a lot compressed into a short show. <3

Re: Bonnaroo YouTube
Because I’m in Straya, it’s work time (and I fucked up the time zones) so I could only catch the last five songs.
I’m so glad Sabotage was edited. And the audio fidelity is on par with the live stuff on the Root Down EP. So good. Thinking of you all.

Re: Bonnaroo YouTube
Got up at 4:30am my time to catch this. Really enjoyed it, and I have to agree that the mix was top notch! Props to Mario C!
I tried to record the whole stream but somehow only got the first 5 mins, a bit miffed but glad I stayed up to watch it all. Hopefully someone else capped it, or it will be available again. I'd pay to own this on iTunes if Mike can have a word with his Apple contacts! |

Re: Bonnaroo YouTube
An amazing show and setlist. Right up there with Glasgow '99. I am sure I will be re-watching this one for years to come.
Pass the Mic stole the show. So tight, so good. They were having so much fun with it. Played this through my stereo system and the sound and mixing on this was amazing. Mario C did a great job. |

Re: Bonnaroo YouTube
Oh and I also managed to get Sabotage on my phone, should have just recorded the whole thing on there rather than the desktop...
I'll share when I get the chance, but now it's 6am and time for bed. |

Re: Bonnaroo YouTube
I am so happy I got up at 5:30 to see this, and I really enjoyed it all the way through.
Sabrosa and Ricky's Theme stood out to me in a way I have not seen it live before. And the encore was just as it should be. "This is our last song, it is called Sabotage" got me a bit too much. |
