At the moment that is what everyone is doing, I hope Spin get its own interview, and Yauch graces its cover too.

Re: MCA Tributes
I'm not too sure if this video from a recent NYTimes has made it here or not, it's called the "Sweet Spot" and it's film critic A. O. Scott and media watcher David Carr, examining the recent deaths of Donna Summer, Adam Yauch, Robin Gibb, Levon Helm, Whitney Houston.
Really touching and Adam is represented quite nicely by rock critic Jon Caramanica around the 2:30 minute mark. http://artsbeat.blogs.nytimes.com/20...t-spot-may-25/

Re: MCA Tributes
I've had a little DJ slot on Shoreditch High Street in London for about 6 months or so and I managed to work my little Yauch tribute in there on Friday.
I wore my green '5 Boroughs' t-shirt and played Freaky Hijiki, 14th St Break, Non-Stop Disco Power Pack and the Mario C remix of Sure Shot. I had the Root down EP with me and would have played the regular version if I'd got a response to any of the other tracks. Still really gutted and deflated.

Re: MCA Tributes
I went to Slam Dunk festival yesterday, Cancer Bats were playing and I was sure they'd do their Sabotage cover. I got myself a nice spot and waited. They came on and opened their set with Sabotage, Liam shouted out 5 words, "this one's for Adam Yauch". Made my day. Seeing them playing that song and the reaction from people helped me put my sadness to bed.

Re: MCA Tributes
Cancer Bats made a whole music video where they tried to find the Beastie Boys. Those guys are definitely loyal fans.

Re: MCA Tributes
i'm just glad to see adam h getting out like he sed and to hear good morning from him is very good. i hope mike is in a somewhat possible good mood too. i'm sure adam y had a conversation with them about how to stay positive and many others. none of my business but i'm just sayin'. fuck all of a sudden after thinking things were going well... fuck man. i love them all dearly and feel part of the best of humanity is gone now when i think of yauch. anyway, i dedicate good things everyday to MCA. What a dope hombre. p

Re: MCA Tributes
Greg Proops talked about Yauch again on his podcast.
Doug Benson's Doug Loves Movies has a game where at the end someone gets to call someone a shithead and a fan said " the cancer that killed Adam Yauch is a shithead" and the comedians agreed.
