![]() I wish there would have been more interviews, it was hard for me to watch this in movie form when I am used to him in Ali G form.
Bed and Breakfast / Blair Witch scene...with the cross and money in his hands. hahha. |

![]() Personally I think Ali is totally played out. Only Borat made me like that show back then although Cohens ability not to laugh out loud or smile is still phenomenal. But the gags are weaker . I heard next up is Vienna's gay fashion victim "Boris".

![]() I am in agreement. I was excited but it was his HBO skits on a roadtrip. I liked the skit on the extras with the masseur. That made me laugh. I also liked the extra scene where the Hawaiian TV station thought he was a legit journalist and interviewed him on their noon show.

Yeah -- that one was good. The one in the grocery bugged me, the one in the dog pound bugged me. It's kind of... it's just kind of cheap, what he does in general. If you catch on or don't "perform" in an embarrassing way or -- God forbid -- if you're even patient or gracious with him, you get cut from the movie. It's like, "I'll pull one over on you -- the world is made of idiots!" when, frankly, to adopt a guise and just bully people with your relentless insistence on playing a character kind of makes you the ass rather than the person you duped. He's like the Michael Moore of gonzo comedy.

![]() Hilarious isn't quite the word for this film...it's too funny for words...
I love the bootleg theme the DVD has going. Anybody else see this on the disc itself....? DEMOREZ Is Life? No Demorez. Genius.

the driving instructor was patient and gracious. the antique people were. the comedy instructor was. so was the car dealer. i dont get your point here. hes comedic gold. half of what makes it so great is how the people react to him and the other half is what he actually says and does which is all too funny in itself. i think people that dont like this or ali g stuff either dont have a good sense of humor and are uptight or they want to be the first ones to be like "oooo im too cool to like borat thats played out bla bla bla" |
