alex really has a cannon tho. song kinda leaned back out of the way of it, i wonder if he stood straight up if he coulda got a piece of it.
i also wonder how long someone would be knocked out for if alex hit them in the face with one of his howitzers while standing in the wall. |

Re: English Premier League 2010/2011
Fucking typical, it all goes off at united and the board was down. I still dont know what to think about the rooney saga but i was made up when he re-signed but i still have doubts and questions. I wasnt behind the wayne is a whore message , i thought that was a bit daft. I think his agent is a cunt though.
Anyone care enough to still talk about it? Did anybody see Hernandez's header against stoke. top class.

Erm why has this thread dropped to the 2nd page?
Fuckin' fairweather fans! Have to say the derby was a massive letdown, especially as I stayed up til 4am local time to watch it when I had work the next day. Really want to know what Rafael and Tevez said to each other. Good to see a bit of passion in the lad.

Re: English Premier League 2010/2011
Yaya Toure looked pretty average out there. head down charge forward. it'll come off once or twice a season against the weaker teams, but as midfield creativity it leaves a lot to be desired. and he was absolutely knackered by the end.
Johnson should've started instead of one of the three DMs Mancini chose.

Loving Chelsea-Sunderland. Onuoha's goal was absolutely amazing, especially for a defender. Maybe they'll start playing him up front.

man u needs to win a game before they can talk. drawing every game you play is no way to win the league.

Re: English Premier League 2010/2011
I stopped watching Sunderland-Chelsea after about 30 mins. thought it was dead boring. pity.
I suppose 3-0 is what happens when you play Paulo Ferreira in central defence.

unbeaten, three points off leaders. we are grinding out results. 2 nil down with 9 minutes to go and we get a point. Chelsea go 2-0 down and cant get it back, at home. long way to go yet bruv

Re: English Premier League 2010/2011
cesc fabregas is an idiot. very silly thing to do, it seemed very arrogant of him to think he could get away with that at home. Technically you battered them but three mistakes cost you. Spurs are now a good enough side to punish most teams mistakes.

seconded, if he's going to go for money and prestige then i'm afraid italy isnt necessarily the best place to go. Its spain or a bigger EPL club (eurrgh, i just said EPL). Plus, i really dont think he's going to go anywhere as long as harry redknapp is still spurs manager.

Harry gave Bale some time off the other week to go on holiday somewhere. Bale went and spent the week at his mums in Wales...so does this sound like a guy who's wanting to move to Italy?
He's better off at Spurs. I can't think of a better place for a transitional player than a transitional club like Spurs. |

Re: English Premier League 2010/2011
I know it's not the Premiership, or even actually football, but I've been playing the new football manager (for once it's not a buggy piece of shit) and last time I started a thread about football manager it got about 3 posts in it, so I'm going to talk about it in this here thread.
Anyway, I decided to choose a team from the Blue Square North for a bit of a challenge. I picked Stafford completely at random, and little did I know they are the most financially fucked team in the history of the fucking world. One game in, and I was put into receivership, docked 10 points, and had a transfer embargo placed upon me. Fortunately, I seem to have a spirited bunch of players, and they quickly reduced -10 points to 4 points after 10 games. Within another 4 games I was out of the relegation zone, and not long after I was sitting in 15th (my media prediciton) but actually performing at a pace that would normally have seen me cosying up with other playoff candidates. And then... the dreaded FM slump. Six fucking games lost on the bounce. I started conceding goals in the dying seconds of matches (always from misplaced crosses - "He didn't mean that!") and now I'm rock bottom, five points from safety, and my players are scared to leave the changing room because they can't even pass the ball to each other properly. The transfer embargo has been lifted, but I can't afford to sign anybody, and even if I could, no fucker wants to play for me. I hate this game. But I fucking love it too. Now I know what it's like to be Roy Hodgson
