YOu named your kid Escher, like MC Escher... that's a pretty awesome name.

thanks and yes his name is inspired by MC Escher

We wanted something unique but not too pretentious, a name that'll mature nicely with him.

Colored pencil and some ink. Er, that right eyebrow was a mistake because I was preoccupied so I ended up just drawing the face for kicks. Then I pulled up a photo of someone's hair I liked. (Not too successful...) Finally, I just filled out the rest.

they are fun and not really difficult to do

I'm gonna do this for my kid's room someday

But first I gotta take some cool pics of the Adirondacks, the Lake and a few Cities, and hopefully Niagara Falls

but in the meantime, I'll practice with other people's pictures

went to the last day of the crimes of passion exhibition today. 50 of bristol's best graffiti and street artists (bar the obvious one we all know).. awesome. i love how in some of the pictures you can't tell if it's on a small canvas or an ENTIRE WALL. artist list here cos i can't be arsed crediting them all.

lots o pictures, sorry. i might get a print of that gold/faces one if i am feeling foolish enough to part with all that cash.

So this here is a new video I just finished.

http://vimeo.com/4728958

It's by a band from Brooklyn called The Press. Song is called "Master"
  • I story boarded it. Drew all of the props. Filmed it, and edited it.
  • The Band helped me flesh out the "story"
  • Phil Healy was my only crew member [other than the three guys in the band] did all of the lighting and assisted w/ camera.
  • The Band costumed themselves. Except for the dog which my gf Dana Kowalchyk, designed.
  • Colby Peterson did the color correcting.

And know you know. Enjoy.
