Re: The Family Album
I bet you'd also like to claw out my eyes with a fork and have komodo dragons urinate in my sockets whilst some scorpions repeatedly sting me, whilst being dragged by a horse. That would be pretty rad, would it not?

Re: The Family Album
Just because someone often wears black, doesn't make them "goth" or the like. I thought we all grew out of third grade and the use of labels. I guess people are just not that mature.

The dolls are an art piece. I don't like the piece because it is a very difficult thing to look at. It's a very personal thing, the loss of childhood innocence (or innocence altogether). It was a very painful experience.
Is Johnny Cash goth? Seriously, grow up and get rid of using labels. You shouldn't be so close-minded.

And it was only two cow organ filled baby dolls. I can't really let that go. I can understand there is some symbolism but damn, there is also an expiry date, especially if kept out of the fridge.

I bought the cow organs the day before I was going to show the piece. I threw them away after the piece came down.

Re: The Family Album
Yeah, it would make a good novel. Innocently stumbling upon some stuff as a young child. Engaging in it for most of your life and only as a teenager do you find out how wrong it is and how it has seriously fucked you up. You then struggle to stop doing something that now has become a habit/addiction and continue to fight this serious problem to this very date. It has fucked me up in how I interact with others and such. That'd make a great novel or film.
I should base my next film on that...oh wait, I did already.
