Re: English Premier League 2010/2011
Gutted that Berbatov didn't get his 6th. Ah well; shows it's a good weekend when that's all I have to bitch about!
I just lost 11 on the trot and we're 7 points from safety. I think the AI has figured me out :/

Re: English Premier League 2010/2011
A brilliant weekend for football, both for the spectators and the sport itself. Undisputable proof that money and muscle will never truly compete with heritage, loyalty and intelligence. Glory Glory.
In other news, BBC Sport has reported "Manchester United draw Liverpool in FA Cup" as if that is worthy of its own story. It would have been more of a challenge were we to face Scunthorpe. Will be satisfying to put the Scousers out of the one competition they're still in, mind.

Re: English Premier League 2010/2011
Careful now!
In other news... I found it slightly amusing that the monobrowed one and that 'Vince-from-mighty-boosh' lookalike from Kasabian both pulled out their own teams to face each other in the draw. Odd thing, chance.

Re: English Premier League 2010/2011
definitely, although i'd be more worried if it was at anfield but we didnt play that well in the league fixture. Gave them two chances and they scored them so i'm not assuming we are through. We went out against leeds at home last year for starters. I think the mickeys will be up for it as its their last chance for a domestic trophy but fergie will want to win this one big time. Hope its a good un.

Re: English Premier League 2010/2011
quick mention of El Clasico. Barca just scored their third. in the build-up Real looked like they didn't even want to be on the pitch. Barca just strolled up the field. no pressure on the ball.
....Villa with a fourth! Messi rampant.

Re: English Premier League 2010/2011
to be honest, I'd love for Balotelli to go to Milan. pairing with Zlatan on and off the pitch. imagine the drama and controversy and sheer entertainment those two together would bring. two nutters at a team owned by a criminal. there would be daily scandal. needs to happen.

This is good for us... let them have their moment, get the loss out the way so we can take a kick up the arse and concentrate on the treble.
It's just karma at work, trust me.

Re: English Premier League 2010/2011
tbh i was going to chip in and say only because we were postponed but thinking about it, i think we dodged a bullet cos if they had managed to get that pitch "playable" it could have been a leveller and anything could have happened. December is a massive month for us, huge games.
Can you believe Newcastle have sacked Chris Hughton, they must have some bugger already lined up? O Neill?

Newcastle must have someone lined up, its the only explanation, they have never really committed to him and have just waited till the results have dried up. I think he has reached his limit but its still a surprise, he has support of players and has exceeded expectations

well its mental but he looks like he's up for it and isnt scared but not even sure its a move sideways. If he doesnt do well early on, he's fucked. And so is Mike Ashley.
Oh, i'm talking about newcastle http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/foot...ed/9273388.stm
