valley of death? you mean the part outside the main valley where the fire was years and years ago? i love that place. it's too bad there's not really anywhere to stop and look around at it. it's been, like, 20 years and the trees still look like charred toothpicks.
i used to go there pretty much every year wth my family when i was younger, and we had all kinds of family reunions there. i hadn't been there in a few years since now...only once since the time we spread my dad's ashes there.
