Re: The Family Album
Went to the first annual Capital City Carnival this weekend.
It was nice, got to meet up with Angelo, lead singer of Fishbone! Drank lots and lots of beers...it was so hot that I had to keep drinking to keep up with my sweating!

Nice! I love fishbone. I saw them 5 or 6 times throughout college. Angelo was climbing on some track lighting and accidentally kicked a girl in the head. They were banned from playing in Richmond for a couple of years. I will never forget him climbing up to a balcony in a venue called the Flood Zone. He was at least 40 or 50 feet above the crowd and he did a backflip into the sea of people. They caught him and passed him to the stage. Talk about trust. I have some old photos of Fish and Angelo from the early 80s gathering dust. The 1st Fishbone show I saw was the Red Hot Chili Peppers opening for Fishbone at a dive bar in Richmond, Va. I hope they make it back here one day. They are a must see. I am glad to see you had fun.

Not a great selection from Europe or Asia but it was just the first go at it. Found some that I will hunt down later.
