speakin of kangaroos, i was driving home the other night from my gf's uncles beach house, its about an hour and a half's drive thru the hills. so i see a sign with a picture of a kangaroo on it with the sign 'next 4 kms' so i start joking to the missus about 'how do they know to cross the road here? did they see the sign? did they put up the sign?' etc and just then a fucking big red kangaroo jumps out right in front of the car!!! i was doing about 110km/h (65-70mph) and lucky i had ABS, or that roo would have made a mess of our car and us!!! so we keep on driving and are quiet for a while, and i just said 'so, i guess they DO know to cross there'.
