Re: The Family Album
word. ive got a ton of boots. my feet stopped growing in like 9th grade. so from then on getting a new pair every year or two i just kept accumulating them.
those in the pic, and the version before that in the black and orange. the white and maroon nike classics that ronaldinho used to wear. the black and neon green total 90s version that rooney wears. although i dont like them much because of the synthetic, i prefer leather. some decent mid range black and neon green totti diadoras. predator 2s in silver. predator 3s in black. vapor 1s in blue. although they are still brand new basically, they hurt like a bitch. they didnt fix the heals so they didnt give tons of blisters till the later models. couple others laying around i cant think of off the top of my head. im like a bitch with all these pairs of boots, i know. |

Wonderful, I didn't even know we won until the song came on... There was one brother that was sitting in front of us and he was an ND alumn so he thought he was Irish. |

Re: The Family Album
I don't know who any of those people are (other than you) but I hate all of them because they are apparently cool enough for you to go to a Cubs game with, but the one time in my life that I go to Chicago, I wasn't.

Girls pulling hair over baseball teams would be pretty rad to see.

Re: The Family Album
having a real baseball team to take girls to would be awesome, too.

Re: The Family Album
Don't expect a cubs 'fan' to answer any baseball related questions correctly.
The cubs old owner Tribune Co filed bankruptcy, I guess it makes the sale to the the new owner easier if all cub related assets are involved in the bankruptcy as well. Now, let's go to the south side to look at a real baseball experience. For DDD & Beastiegirl: Great place to bring the kids, even on a chilly day. Here's the cubs mascot: |

Notice how the fans are actually watching the game. A photo doesn't really capture the magic of 40k fans waving terrible towels during the play-offs. |

Our boys just happen to be at home this weekend. Maybe we should take Nat to the game and teach her what ERA is? More realistic when I crop the beer out. |

DDD...we must meet, I'll round up the usual suspects (read DW) and we'll figure it out. Skinny your little monster is growing so fast! Aren't you on number 2? What the hell is ERA? PS I would like to point out how empty the seats in your stadium are. Just sayin' |

Typical Sox fag who can't STFU about the Cubs. Wrigley is baseball. Get over it. Step-child syndrome on the southside over there is pathetic. What's worse is dildos like you who just beat it to death that "south side" is real baseball when you know you ain't got shit on the Cubs and the northside. Then you want to stereotype "wouldn't expect a Cubs fan to know blah blah blah." YOU are the stereotype. Fuckbutt.

Re: The Family Album
Wow. And I thought the Mets-Yanks fans talked a lot of shit.
Viewing it as an outsider, I see it as the Cubs have the history (granted it's a history of sucking), the Sox have the recent success. Sox weren't in town when I was there, or else I would've caught a game. The Saturday Cubs-Mets game did seem more like a college football game, where people were just blindly root, root, rooting for the home team without really knowing anything that was actually going on. The Sunday game was much better. Could've been because I wasn't in the bleachers, and it was Tom Glavine's 300th win, so I was paying closer attention to the game, and not the sights around me. |
