He gave a shout out to them when he won his first Grammy or MTV award. I don't remember which award, but he defiantly thanked them.

Also on the Slim Shady ep he calls himself Mike D in a lyric and I think he thanks them in the credits.

I'm Em's biggest fan by any means, but I do know the guy has skills and he has definitely shown his respect.

My opinion on Eminem is that he's an extremely talented wordsmith and an extremely talented rapper who makes -in general- bad music. I was a big fan of his first two albums when he really blew up, but even they have aged pretty badly. His talent and audacity early in his career are enough to warrant his massive success, I think. But the shit that he releases now that gets played on z100 and KTU? No way, man. I cant dig any of that shit. Its pop music.
