Default favorite Beastie merch

what’s your favorite Beastie’s merch? i have a nice collection but i think my favorite item is the STPTB VHS tape. i studied that tape hard when it first came out. i always wished the STPTB cartoon into was for the entire song. i love that animation. lots of good times showing that tape to friends. that’s the one item i’m sure i’ll have around forever.

I watched that and the Sabotage tape about 1000 times. I was so happy when I found a DVD of the Sabotage tape, but this one never made it past VHS. The Anthology DVD took care of a lot of it, but there are still a few gems left unreleased.

**I forgot that STPTB and Jimmy James never made it to the Anthology DVD. I wonder why?

Keep it on

i’m watching it now. i ripped my VHS to digital years ago. looks pretty great for 1992. i love how it had the PB era and CYH eras blended.

and the live performances of shadrach and slow and low are live every time. i like the sabotage tape too but this is where it’s at for me.

Any chance you'd share that digital file?

I’ve never owned the tape but is this the whole thing?

I’d vote for the Mike D Watch or the slipmat with the same photo!

Yeah, i love that slipmat too. a close friend gifted that to me and it's been on my 1200 ever since.

my copy is a lot better quality than that vimeo rip. i just moved so let me locate my external hd's. but, yeah i can share.

I’ve lost a lot of things over the years. My VHS tapes of everything were thrown out but a lame roommate. I still have the anthology DVD and AIFST DVD, the sounds of Since vinyl set is awesome, I bought the Beastie Boys repeater tee and I like that one a lot.

I have a lot of magazines still, mainly from HN era and on, Hello Nasty post it notes and the Hello Nasty “Hello my name is” badge stickers. I had the sardine can cd holder for a while, but it didn’t hold up during moving.

I like the Girl Skateboards Spike Jonze sabotage deck I have, and some friends of mine got me a Yauch/Sabotage art piece some artist did in Scotland which i like a lot.
