Yes. It's a biopic about the life of a large snake.

'I've done movies for certain reasons; I did 'Anaconda' because the black man lives. Simple. The black man isn't dead in the first three pages, like Jurassic Park. It's like, 'The black man kills the snake with a Latino girl? Damn! I got to do this.' - Ice Cube

When I saw the thread, I thought I'd seen the movie. But now I realize I saw Arachnophobia. In a theater. Yep.

Bio pick with emphasis on first syllable

I remember watching Jurassic Park back in the day in the early afternoon, so the tv station cut out Samuel L Jackson's severed arm because it was too gory. However, for those watching the movie for the first time it seemed like Jackson was never killed and they just decide to leave the black guy behind on the island at the end. Which is probably worse than actually showing his severed arm.

Jurassic Park was the first movie to ever blow me away.

Saw it in the theaters when I was like ten with a friend of mine and his family. Still my favorite movie to this day. Never has a movie made me feel that way since. Wish I could recreate the utter shock and astonishment. I had no clue what I was going in to see. being ten I was totally unaware of the hype that Jurassic Park was garnering and I didn't even know it was about fucking DINOSAURS. what ten year old boy isn't fascinated by dinosaurs!

I saw Jurassic Park at the first show of the opening day with a bunch of friends. I must have taken the day off of work. I knew a lot about it because I had read the book--I don't read much fiction so I've rarely read a book ahead of a movie. I have a love hate thing with Spielberg--I was glad that he made a movie I really liked that time. And I loved Sam Neill way before the internet did.

(I also read the book beforehand and saw Silence of the Lambs on opening weekend with a huge group of friends. I had not read Misery before seeing that movie with that same group of friends--there was much screaming because we did not know what was going to happen ahead of time in that one.)

I'm so old now, I saw Jaws in a theater during its first run--but I was pretty young then and it was my first scary movie. I also saw Raiders of the Lost Ark at a drive in -- which was a bummer because they started drive-in movies before it was completely dark and it was nearly impossible to see the whole running from the boulder thing at the beginning of the movie. I had to see it again on cable later on to appreciate it.

lol.

Seriously, describing Anaconda as "timeless" is like saying that Hawkeye is the best Avenger.

I really liked the movie, but would not call it timeless. If they could have worked J-Lo's ass in, maybe in like in a white pair of shorts that get wet, then we could about timeless.

Anaconda is an anagram of ON Canada. The capital of Ontario is Toronto. Drake is from Toronto. Drake rhymes with snake.

Weird.
