Default Serious Problems

I have a rap record and video dropping today. It's three years in the making. I handled all the beats, production, and directed the video. My friend Pat wrote and performed all the raps.

The video Mike on the Mic title is an obvious nod to the Beasties song from Paul's Boutique and a post fight interview of Mike Tyson which is sampled. It was shot around Portland, Maine with a GoPro Hero 3+.

Serious Problems is now available digitally on iTunes and Amazon.

ps. It's my Moms birthday today. She said no gifts, buy my sons album. Truth!

Thanks for listening!

Got 'Em All Screamin' is a top quality beat man. You should definitely give that the video if you want to spotlight another track!

I liked the video. It was funny.

checked out the clips as well.

I really liked Checkmate and Skillset but my fave was Laser Tag Gun Fighter, that really reminded me of beasties. but I could spot lots of other influences but i still think you retain a certain style/feel of your own throughout.

Laser Tag would be my choice for video but i guess there's only one way that could go so maybe not.

Pleeeeease dont take this the wrong way but i was pleasantly surprised. it wasnt what i was expecting at all.

I love that tune and you're the first person to pick that as a fav. Props!

A lot of people have been championing Checkmate for the next vid. Laser Tag Gun Fighter is second.

I'm glad you guys took time out to listen. It's much appreciated. I can only take credit for the beats and production. Pat seals the deal with the raps. I love working with him.

We shoot the next video next week. I'll keep you guys updated.

Thanks again!

This is good, bro. Love the sound, so raw. Just lyrics and welll crafted ones by the way, and drums. It's a good way to get you put out there with no distraction. The video kicks ass. Way better than all the starlight, buyings swaying. Where was it filmed? I'm from a place that looks almost similar. And keep it up, yo.

Thanks for checking it out! The ocean shots were filmed in South Portland, Maine were Pat grew up and the rest of the video was shot near his spot in Portland.

The entire record is also streaming on YouTube if anyone one wants to check it out.

One last one for this record.

We shot a quick video today for Laser Tag Gun Fighter.

Very Beastie influenced. I hope you dig.
