French music act M83 just released the video treatment for “Reunion,” the second single from 2011′s “Hurry Up, We’re Dreaming.” The video picks up the story from the first single’s music video, “Midnight City,” featuring a gang of kids with superpowers that turn their eyes blue and toss Chevy Tahoes like rag dolls.

The upbeat song combined with dramatic visuals is entrancing enough that you’ll probably miss the subtle MCA tribute the band carefully placed. At around the 46-second mark, a Nokia GPS device can be seen indicating the cars are traveling down "Adam Yauch Ave.”

Rapper Chris Brown dedicates his new video "Till I Die," featuring Big Sean and Wiz Khalifa, to Adam Yauch:

Quote:
Directed by Breezy himself, and dedicated to the late Beastie Boy Adam Yauch, the clip stars the rap young guns emulating the Beasties' off the wall approach to music videos alongside elderstatesmen Snoop Dogg, Method Man and Redman. Andy Milonakis and Jamie Kennedy are in there somewhere, too.

This is what Brown wrote on his Twitter:

Quote:
RIP MCA(ADAM YAUCH) https://vimeo.com/43146608 TILL I DIE ( DEDICATED)!!!!!!!!!

I haven't seen this listed but Alamo Drafthouse in Austin had a Beastie Boys Rap-A-Long (they have done a few previously, they also do sing-a-longs, movie quote-a-longs etc.) a week or so after MCA passed where all ticket sales went to the American Cancer Society. There was also a link where you could donate, which I did, but didn't attend, it was just too soon for me. I did like the concept though.

I used to joke that no matter how mad or sad I was anyone could turn on Beastie Boys and it was instant happiness for me. I can't wait for that to be true again.

I want to say thank you to everyone that has been posting on this board. The first week or so after MCA passed I really felt that no one truly understood how much his death has affected me and then I came back here and instantly felt like I was surrounded by people who were feeling the same things I was and I wasn't alone. Y'all are all awesome!
