Here's something from last year, bridge design project:

I was looking at it just now and the multiple geometry is hideously bad, but still, not a bad effort i guess.

It's pretty easy once you get your head around the concept of it. 3d is a total bastard though, it wasn't really covered in much depth on my course but im expected to be able to demonstrate it anyway

yes, well, that cantilever is obviously much larger and the angle is more obtuse. on the drawing, it just doesn't seem like it could work unless the legs of that U-shaped thing extended really far into the ground or something.

Look at this photo. Can you tell what it is?

I was driving around for work in the fall and saw it on the side of a building in an alley. It is a Jimi Hendrix mural made out of leaves. The Virginia Commonwealth University student looked out the window and told me it was a disposable art project for his class. I still think this is incredible and I am glad that I had a camera. Fall foliage never looked so good

Here is a tighter shot.

James Brown had a Gulliver head on a Liliputian body & that is why he drank Bacardi.

brilliant.

"The fact that an opinion has been widely held is no evidence whatsoever that it is not utterly absurd; indeed in view of the silliness of the majority of mankind, a widespread belief is more likely to be foolish than sensible."
